Shirley Campbell-Wright

Chairperson Emeritus

Chairperson Emeritus, along with her late husband Jerry Campbell founded Trendsetter Construction in 1978.  After a 30+ year career in the role of the Chief Financial Officer, Ms. Shirley stepped back last year from day-to-day activities. Still today a huge presence in the company and a driving spirit of what Trendsetter is all about, Ms. Shirley remains one of the company’s most valued assets.  

Joel Campbell

Chief Executive Officer

Is the Chief Executive Officer of the Trendsetter Companies. An inspirational leader for the last 20+ years, who, along with his brother Robby, has helped transform Trendsetter from a local family business of 10 individuals into an all-inclusive construction solutions provider with over 7 stand-alone service lines and 300 employees. Fascinated with introducing and incorporating new technologies in construction practices, Joel keeps the company at the forefront of technology. Joel is dedicated to presenting the most cost effective and timely alternatives to meet customer needs. 

Robert (Robby) Campbell

President and Chief Operations Officer

Is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Trendsetter, having joined the company in 1996.  Robby brings a commonsense approach to his leadership and management style. Comfortable in the boardroom and the field, Robby is a firm believer in leading by example to deliver customer value. Working most of his life with heavy equipment and operational teams, Robby delivers solutions to get the job done on time and within budget. Robby ensures that clients’ needs are met, whether the project is a single homesite or a multi-state, complex project.

Scott McLean

Chief Revenue Officer

Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Chief Revenue Officer, is a tri-lingual petroleum engineer with a passion for global enterprise. Fueled by more than 20 years of operational experience, Scott has held Global Business Development Director positions with LeTourneau Technologies, Express Energy Services, and Saxon Energy Services (a Schlumberger affiliate). He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Rice Business. Scott has served three years as a board member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section.
